shadow
  • The non-profit organization ‘Rishon Loves Animals’ is the first and only
association established by the residents, who felt the need to create a new reality
for the animals within its boundaries. The association began operating in 2002.
  • The association does not keep a kennel. Our volunteers work constantly to save
as many dogs as possible from the regional confinement we work with and to
improve the conditions in that kennel. They do it by holding adoption days,
advertising dogs for adoption, dog transportation, hospitalisation of sick dogs
    and more.
  • Our volunteers operate a hotline that provides a continuous response to public
calls and queries, and we try to help as much as possible by rescue, tracing
and advertising lost/found dogs, finding homes, and more.
  • The volunteers also operate booths throughout the city with the main purpose
of informing and educating the public, they take parts in projects in schools and
other various frameworks concerning animal welfare, and work continuously to
promote and enforce animal cruelty laws in the city.
  • Rishon Loves Animals association welcomes volunteers. Volunteers must be over the age of 14. Those younger than 18 and must be accompanied by parents and show ID card at their first activity.
